Hi, I’m Edie Feffer.
Stress can make smart people do weird things: overeat, shut down, overthink, snap, numb out, or stay stuck. That’s not a character flaw. It’s a stress pattern.
I’m a Certified Health Coach and a trauma-informed EFT practitioner. I help men and women shift stress patterns at the root so you can feel steadier in your body, think more clearly, and take the next right step without white-knuckling your way through life.
My work blends EFT and 1:1 health coaching, personalized to your triggers, your history, and what your nervous system is doing in real time.
Why I do this work
For years, I lived in cycles of binge eating, anxiety, hormonal chaos, and emotional shutdown. My eating disorders started around age 12. In college, I used food to cope. In my twenties, I was diagnosed with severe depression and anxiety, and I binged my way through the pain. By 34, I was dealing with endometriosis and cysts that made every month feel like a war with my body.
I wasn’t thriving. I was surviving. And I truly believed peace would come once I finally “got it together.”
In 2015, I saw a transformation photo from someone I actually knew. Not a celebrity. Not a filtered ad. A real person with a real life. And for the first time, I felt something I hadn’t felt in a long time: hope.
Hope that I could lose the 30 pounds I’d gained from emotional eating.
Hope that I could feel comfortable in my body again.
Hope that this cycle wasn’t permanent.
That photo didn’t change my life overnight. But it got me moving. And once I started moving, hope opened the door to something deeper: food freedom, emotional regulation, and a career devoted to helping other people stop white-knuckling their way through change.
Then in 2022, a major life event pushed my nervous system into survival mode. EFT was the tool that helped me process what journaling, running, and even “talking it out” couldn’t reach. It helped me re-engage with life in a way that felt meaningful and exciting again.
That’s why EFT is now at the center of my work: because when your body isn’t stuck in emergency mode, change stops feeling like a fight.
